Kyle Nickles is a ruminant nutritionist with Kalmbach Feeds and Formula of Champions show feeds. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and was a member of the 2012 OSU Livestock Judging Team. Kyle grew up on a seed stock operation focused on raising quality Simmental influenced cattle and is actively involved in all aspects of the show cattle industry. He is passionate about raising quality livestock and feeding them to their maximum potential.
Levi Richards is the Program Director for Formula of Champions and a Show Cattle Specialist. He studied Animal Science at The Ohio State University. Levi has judged livestock shows in many states across the country and Canada, and holds an annual show cattle sale in the fall. He and his family reside in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Andrew Sloan is a show lamb specialist from Shelby, Ohio. Andrew studied Ag Business and was on competitive judging teams at both Lincoln Land Community College and Western Illinois University. Andrew and his family operate Sloan Club Lambs, which a consists of 150 mature ewes. They have bred and shown lambs that have won major titles across the country.
John Adams graduated from The Ohio State University in Animal Science and was on the Livestock Judging Team where he was high individual with the second highest score ever recorded at the National Collegiate contest in Louisville. His family operates AFSC(Adams Family Show Cattle) who raise, exhibit, and have sold numerous champions of many breeds across the United States. John is currently involved with 4H and FFA youth to further their livestock knowledge and assist with their futures success.
Tim Trattles is a show pig specialist from Burr Oak, Michigan. He is a 2003 graduate of Michigan State university with degree in animal science. Tim was a member of Lake Land College and Michigan State University livestock judging teams. Tim lives in Burr Oak Michigan He raises shorthorn, shorthorn plus, maine and crossbred show cattle, along with yorkshire, duroc and crossbred show pigs. Tim and his wife Nichol and two sons Colin and Mason produce and show livestock successfully on the state and national level.
In addition to being a sales rep for Kalmbach feeds for the past 15 years, Brian, along with his wife Lynne and 4 daughters also own and operate Forrest Showpigs in Woodstock Ohio. Forrest Showpigs consist of 12 high quality crossbred and purebred sows. The Forrest’s have sold champion market and breeding hogs at the county, district and state levels in 9 different states. Brian was also a member of the Ohio State University livestock judging team and has evaluated hogs at many shows across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Jordan Gilbert is a show cattle specialist from Greenville, Ohio. He grew up on his families beef breeding operation and received a degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University. Jordan and his family sell many show cattle across the country.
Dallas Miller is currently a salesman for Kalmbach Feeds and has over 35 years in the livestock feed industry. He owns Silverwood Farms in Bowling Green, OH, an 80-head Boer goat operation, and also runs a 50-head commercial sheep operation. Dallas serves on Ohio’s Assuring Quality Care for Animals Advisory Committee and is also the Superintendent for the Goat Skillathon at the Ohio State Fair.
