A writer out of loneliness is trying to communicate like a distant star sending signals. – John Steinbeck

Earlier this year, I became the writer-in-residence of the amazing Qal’at al-Bahrain Site Museum. It is such an honor and privilege to be able to use the space to write and dream and plan. To kick-off the residency I hosted an online writing workshop by doing a takeover of the museum’s Instagram account, which you can find on their Instagram feed.

I’ve had more writing published, like Khobar Drift: Myth and Memory in Saudi Arabia, which is up at The Smart Set, and Inside Jahanamiya, Saudi Arabia’s First Feminist Literary Magazine, which is up at The Establishment. Coming up soon I’ll have some poems up at Seafoam Mag, too, and another article up at The Establishment.

I’ve also started working on another novel. It is brash and bold and full of multi-dimensional weirdness and magic….which I better get back to.
